A mountain trek with trekking and camping to the beautiful Páramo Siete Lagunas, located in the Sierra de la Culata National Park, Monte Caramelo Municipality, Trujillo State.
A place full of myths, legends, history, and flora and fauna.
We'll camp opposite Laguna Negra, at 4,535 meters above sea level, and summit San Pedro Peak at 4,848 meters above sea level.
Camping:
2 nights camping at La Laguna Negra.
3 Trekking Routes:Distance 10 km approx. each.
Tour: Approx. 5 hours each.
1 night in an inn: Descending from the moor on the third day, a night of rest awaits us in a comfortable inn (shared rooms).
On the fourth day, upon returning to Caracas, we will visit the Virgin of La Paz Monument in Trujillo.
Meals :
• Camp meal plan (2 breakfasts, 2 dinners + 2 trail snacks)
• Mealless plan (you prepare your own food)*Consult how you prefer.
What's included
• Private transportation with A/C, from Caracas, Maracay or Valencia - La Puerta (Trujillo) - Caracas.

• 1 separate 4x4 vehicle for transporting camping equipment, backpacks, and logistics for the entire group.
• Carrying equipment on horses or mules. Limited to one large backpack per hiker.
• INPARQUES permit for 3 days in the National Park.
• Certified mountain guides. And a local guide from the area (baquiano).

To comfortably carry out and enjoy this adventure it is essential:
1) Be in adequate physical condition. If you regularly hike or practice other physically demanding sports, you're ready to enjoy the 10K hike on the first two days and the 7K hike on the third day.
2) Bring a tent, sleeping bag, and the appropriate high-altitude gear. Temperatures can drop to -4 degrees C, and we'll be at a maximum altitude of 3,8848 meters above sea level. The right gear will allow you to fully enjoy the experience, stay warm, rest, and travel comfortably.
What minimum equipment do I require?
High mountain tent (If you don't have one, you can rent it)
Sleeping bag for sub-zero temperatures. (If you don't own one, you can rent one.)
Large backpack for your gear (rental available) and small backpack for hiking.
Appropriate footwear with good grip for hiking. *Don't dust off shoes that have been stored unused in the closet for more than a year; you risk damaging the glue holding them in place.
Fleece or wool sweaters, a scarf or buff, a hat or balaclava, gloves, thick socks (merino wool is ideal), a long, durable raincoat that covers your backpack.
