Route Overview
 
This circuit is an incredible tour that begins in the Historic Center of La Guaira, ascending by road from Macuto to the beautiful village of San José de Galipán. Located on the northern face of the Waraira Repano National Park, it overlooks the Caribbean Sea and is part of the La Guaira State.
 
Meeting Point and Route
We depart from Caracas in a 4x4 vehicle. The meeting point is in front of the San Bernardino Medical Center parking lot or the Cable Car (Teleférico) parking lot.
We leave Caracas in an off-road vehicle that will take us down the Caracas-La Guaira highway.
Upon arrival, we begin the La Guaira Historic Center Tour. We will also visit the El Vigía and San Carlos forts.
After traveling along the coastal avenue (cinta costera), we begin the ascent toward San José de Galipán in a 4x4 vehicle through the Macuto sector, while enjoying the beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea and the Vargas Coast.
 
San José de Galipán, Natural Pools, and Chocolate
We arrive to enjoy and refresh ourselves at the San José de Galipán River, where we will visit its natural pools and waterfalls.
From Friday to Sunday, we can visit the beautiful Picacho Chocolate Factory.
