Wayumi Expeditions is a Tour Operator, specialized in Adventure Tourism that takes you to discover incredible places in one of the most Mega Diverse of the world, Venezuela.
Our team is made up of certified guides, experienced tour guides, transporters, photographers, innkeepers, and highly committed staff, trained in various areas of tourism and with high standards of service quality.
It's a project born from the passion and determination of our Director, Adriana López, and her team to safely take you on unforgettable adventures to places that amaze foreign tourists, but that many Venezuelans have yet to discover.

Biography
She's a traveler in love with Venezuela, whose mission is to show you the most magical places in our country that will amaze you. To achieve this, she travels, explores, and conducts research to design trips and excursions that provide unique and memorable experiences for our travelers.
VOCATION
A vocational test during her school years revealed that she was meant to work in open, dynamic environments—not behind a desk. She began studying Social Communication at UCAB but ultimately graduated as a Graphic Designer from IDC, turning it into both her profession and passion. She worked as an event producer, gaining valuable experience in creating and leading large-scale projects, with and for people. Yet her adventurous spirit remained restless, only soothed by travel. In the face of Venezuela’s diaspora, she chose to stay and explore the country, discovering incredible places. That’s when she felt the urge to share her travel experiences through articles for various media outlets, newspapers, and social platforms.
TRAINING
As she continued traveling and documenting, the need arose to formalize her training in tourism. She studied to become a Certified Low and Mid-Mountain Tour Guide, earning her certification from INCES, which included coursework in:

She completed a Diploma in Sustainable Tourism through UCAB and the Ahete Network.
She also earned First Aid certification from the Caracas Fire Department and an English Proficiency Certificate from INCES. Her training includes multiple courses in hiking, geolocation, trail interpretation workshops, heritage tourism, basic rope support techniques, and first aid kit management. She completed the Entrepreneur and Tourism Service Provider Training Course, certified by MINTUR and SOGATUR.
When she’s not guiding or designing, she spends her time exploring new destinations to keep Venezuela’s travel offerings fresh and exciting. She is a Certified Adventure Route Operator and Tour Guide, and on every journey she shares the culture, history, gastronomy, ethnic diversity, local communities, and natural wonders of our country.
